Regardless of denomination, “ology” or “ism’, one thing many struggle with is
assurance, knowing you are saved and have eternal life.
Take comfort in the following:
1 John 2:12
“I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.”
1 John 5:13
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
1 John 5: 20
"We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true--even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."
Romans 8:1
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”
And the clincher, probably the most used verse in the New Testament:
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
There are many more but these should help put your mind at ease. If you are not saved and are reading this, here are a few just for you:
Romans 10:9
“That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
If for some reason you think you are not worthy, worthy has nothing to do with anything.
Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”.
Romans 5:8
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 10: 11-13
“As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Anyone means just that, anyone. Everyone means just that, everyone. Whoever believes means exactly that. This means YOU!!!!!

Until the next time, may the LORD bless us and keep us, in Jesus name I pray.
